Tokio Millennium Re (UK) Ltd. (TMRUK) was established in London in 2005 as Tokio Marine Global Ltd. Like our sister company, Tokio Millennium Re Ltd., our entire capital has been provided by Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. Similarly, we benefit from the same Standard & Poor’s rated security and a parental letter of guarantee.

The company’s rebranding to Tokio Millennium in January 2011 is part of the globalisation and alignment of our parent group’s inwards reinsurance treaty offering. Based in London, TMRUK offers short and long tail reinsurance solutions to clients in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America as well as specialty treaty reinsurance to clients around the world. We share a common product and underwriting philosophy with the other Tokio Millennium Re offices with a local focus which ensures that we are better positioned than ever to offer our brokers and clients easy access to a full range of reinsurance products.
