Casualty

TMRCH underwrites motor, GTPL, professional lines and personal accident. Currently, we are cautiously scrutinising opportunities in further casualty lines such as medical malpractice.

In proportional casualty reinsurance we prefer treaties which feature structuring elements like sliding scale commissions, loss participations or loss ratio caps.

In the liability classes we focus mainly on small to middle market risks that give us a well diversified portfolio of exposures. Heavy industrial liability exposures and financial lines are not underwritten by TMRCH. When cover is needed, we can facilitate contact to Tokio Millennium Re (UK) Ltd. and our head office in Bermuda, Tokio Millennium Re Ltd.

As in property, we utilise a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates a deep understanding of the client, the skills of underwriting, and actuarial and catastrophe modelling to provide reinsurance solutions for our customers.

In all classes and through all types of participation we offer significant capacity.
