Fumiaki Namekawa

Fumiaki Namekawa is General Manager of the Corporate Accounting Department of Tokio Marine Nichido. He has been a Director of Tokio Millennium Re Ltd. since 2002.

Namekawa joined Tokio Marine Nichido in 1974 and assumed various positions in the General Accounting Department. In 1982 he moved to London to manage the Accounting Department for Tokio Re. He returned to Tokyo in 1988, as Manager of the Overseas Accounting Department and in 1994 became Deputy General Manager of the International Investments Department. In 1997 he relocated to the New York branch of Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire as Senior Vice President in charge of accounting and investments. In 2002 he once again returned to head office in Tokyo to assume his present position.

Namekawa received a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Tokyo University, Japan in 1974.
